Math Problem of the Week #6

I am a little late on the posting of this one, so here it is:

In a 2D plane, four equilateral triangles share a side with each of the sides of a square with area 144. None of the vertices of any of the four triangles lie inside of the square. What is the total area of all four triangles and the square together?
